Palestinian adventurers Mohammad Ghawanmeh and his brother Khalid Ghawanmeh raised the Palestinian flag on the summit of Mount Elbrus.
Mount Elbrus has the highest summit in Europe with the height of 5,642 metres.
“We raise the Palestinian flag for the cause, for the land that was taken from our people, for the freedom to live, to belong, to exist, for the kids, the moms and the men,” the Ghawanmeh said.
“We rais the flag of Palestine for the struggle, for the dreams, for the compassion, for humanity, for Gaza, for the West Bank, for Jerusalem, for Palestine and every Palestinian out there,” they added.
They continued: “We raise the flag of Palestine for the pride, for every tear drop that was shed, for the freedom, for the freedom, for the freedom, for the holy land, for the world to know that we will fight in every way possible.”
The Ghawanmeh concluded: “We are here to stay, and we will forever rise.”
