Palestinian paramedic Mohammad al-Jadeeli, 36, succumbed to wounds sustained while offering first aid to wounded shot by Israeli occupation forces on 3 May 2019 in Gaza.
In a statement, the Palestinian Red Crescent (PRC) announced Al-Jadeeli’s death on Monday and said he suffered severe fractions in the skull after being shot with a metal-coated with rubber bullet in his nose.
Al-Jadeely was transferred to the West Bank city of Al-Khalil to receive advanced treatment due to his serious conditions, but he died.
During the Israeli crackdown on the protests of the Great March of Return and Breaking the siege, around 315 Palestinians were killed and more than 17,000 were wounded.
This nurse is the fourth paramedic to be killed during the protests, while around 700 others were wounded.
